There are times when it is really easy to get caught in overthinking and overanalyzing every single word that people say, or every single action they take. We all do that. This week, as I caught myself in one of those spirals, I got reminded of The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz that come so handy to avoid such traps. The Four Agreements are:
- Be impeccable with you word.
- Don't take anything personal.
- Don't make assumptions.
- Always do your best.
All are very applicable and relevant, of course, but the second and the third remain to be my favorites.
